PT General Energy Bali

• EACP bankers advised PT General Energy Bali (GEB) on the sourcing of a strategic partner and the restructuring of the outstanding debt for a 380 MW coal-fired power plant in Bali
• EACP bankers advised on the restructuring of US$50m in debt, taken out before the financial crisis in 2008
• EACP bankers worked closely with China Huadian, which took the EPC and O&M roles as well as a majority stake in the project

Bangkok Transit System

• The Bangkok Transit System (the Sky Train) is a 55km elevated rapid transit system in Bangkok
• The Sky Train is operated by the Bangkok Transit System PCL (BTSC) under a 30 year Build-Operate-Transfer concession granted by the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority (BMA)
• EACP bankers advised the Tanayong Group on the selection of the strategic EPC consortium (Siemens for E&M / ITD for civil works) and arranged the financing to construct and operate the US$1.7b BTS Sky Train

EdL Generation

• EACP bankers acted as sole advisors to the Government of Laos (GOL) regarding the restructuring of its electricity industry
• EACP bankers recommended that Electricite du Laos (EdL) spin-off its electricity-generating assets into a newly formed company, Electricite-Gen PCL (EdL-Gen), and executed the restructuring
• EACP bankers also structured and led-managed the US$120m IPO of EdL-Gen - the first public offering on the Lao Securities Exchange
